California Forever proudly announces the addition of Gen. Mike Minihan (Ret.) as Senior Advisor. With an extensive and distinguished career spanning over three decades in the U.S. Air Force, Gen. Minihan brings exceptional leadership and expertise in global mobility operations and strategic command to his new role.

Gen. Minihan most recently served as Commander of Air Mobility Command at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, leading over 100,000 active-duty Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve Airmen, and civilians. As a Command Pilot, he oversaw operations across 17 Wings and two Groups, supporting U.S. Transportation Command's air component with a fleet of approximately 1,100 aircraft, including Travis Air Force Base. His command provided vital inter-theater and intra-theater airlift, air refueling, aeromedical evacuation, and senior leader air transport for national interests.

“We are proud and excited to have Gen. Minihan join California Forever,” said Jan Sramek, Founder and CEO. “His experience in leading complex, large-scale operations, fostering critical partnerships, and caring for Service Members and their families aligns perfectly with our mission to both serve the community and rebuild the American defense industrial base.”

Before assuming the role of AMC Commander, Gen. Minihan served as Deputy Commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, where he played a key role in advancing strategic military partnerships and operational readiness. His career includes command and staff assignments in crisis, combat, and garrison environments across various levels, including the 19th and 89th Airlift Wings. Notably, Gen. Minihan also previously served as Vice Commander of the 60th Air Mobility Wing at Travis Air Force Base.

“My background has helped me focus on the challenges our Airmen and their families face when it comes to accomplishing the mission,” Gen. Minihan shared. Having served in command at Travis, he added, “Joining this team aligns with my enduring commitment to preserving the American Dream for this generation and those to come, which includes strengthening our nation’s defense.”
